Left Caleta Coloso, Chile on September 6th 1906 with a cargo of nitrates, bound for Antwerp.

Believed lost in the ice along with Captain Thomas Coath age 53 and his 10 year old son, Frederick Daniel Coath.

The following records contain many of those seaman who were "missing" from the 1851 census, due to being at sea. Although they are recorded as COUTH it seems that on many occasions COATH and COUTH were interchangable. This is especially noticable in parish baptism records
